Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a R&D Manager (LED, $2400):
Product Development & Innovation:
Lead research and development of LED lighting products, including high-efficiency LEDs, smart lighting, and specialized applications.
Drive innovation in optical, thermal, and electronic design to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
Develop and optimize LED modules, drivers, and control systems (e.g., dimming, smart IoT integration).
Project Management & Strategy:
Define R&D roadmaps, oversee product lifecycle, and ensure timely execution of projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, sales, and marketing) to align product development with business objectives.
Manage cost, quality, and feasibility of new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Technology & Market Trends:
Research and implement emerging LED technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Stay updated on industry regulations, market demands, and competitive trends.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Oversee prototyping, validation, and testing of LED products for performance, reliability, and safety.
Work with certification bodies to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS).
Team Leadership & Development:
Build and lead the R&D team, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
Requirement
Male or Female.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in team management and project management.
Strong expertise in LED R&D, hands-on technical experience in LED, semiconductors, optical design, thermal management, and electronic circuit design.
Willing to travel abroad for business trips.
