Regional Content Coordinator

MAIN SCOPE AND PURPOSE:
Mad Monkey Vietnam is looking for a dynamic Regional Content Coordinator to drive the digital presence of our Ha Giang Loop tour. This role requires a passionate storyteller who can capture, create, and share compelling content that engages audiences, strengthens our brand, and increases tour bookings.
As the key liaison between the Ha Giang tour team, the Global Marketing Team, and the Regional Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the most exciting, high-quality content is produced and shared effectively across all social media platforms. You will train and guide Easy Riders and local teams on content capture, ensuring consistency and engagement while staying ahead of social media trends.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy:
Work with the Global Marketing Team to devise and implement a content strategy for the Ha Giang Loop tour.
Capture, curate, and post photo and video content that showcases the adventure, people, and unique experiences of the tour.
Edit and optimize content for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), ensuring high engagement and brand consistency.
Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and viral content to keep Mad Monkey Vietnam at the forefront of travel marketing.
Create and manage a content calendar to ensure a steady stream of engaging posts.
Training & Team Coordination:
Train and guide Easy Riders and local team members on how to capture engaging content while on tour.
Provide best practices for filming, photography, and storytelling to enhance the quality of user-generated content.
Offer ongoing feedback and workshops to improve the team's content skills.
Collaboration & Reporting
Act as the main point of contact between the tour teams, regional management, and the global marketing team.
Work with the marketing team to analyze content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to expand reach and audience engagement.
Provide weekly reports on content performance, engagement metrics, and upcoming plans.
Requirements:
Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing (preferably in travel, tourism, or adventure experiences).
Strong video editing skills (experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro is a plus).
Expertise in social media trends, platforms, and algorithms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Passion for travel, adventure, and storytelling, with a creative eye for visual content.
Experience in training or coaching teams on content capture is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work with multiple teams.
Ability to travel to Ha Giang and other Mad Monkey locations in Vietnam as needed.
