Job Summary
The Sales Manager is a key leadership role within the
Business Development department, reporting directly to the BD Director. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing the sales teams, and contributing to the overall business growth of Bonario Vietnam. The Sales Manager will also work closely with the marketing team to align strategies, ensure smooth collaboration within the BD department, and prepare for departmental expansion in 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Collaborate with the BD Director to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to create campaigns and initiatives that drive sales.
• Ensure the sales teams meet or exceed revenue targets for both brands.
• Identify growth opportunities and propose actionable plans for market expansion.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and manage 3 team leaders and 6 sales representatives (expanding to 12 reps by 2025).
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the sales teams.
• Monitor team leaders' performance and support their leadership development.
Collaboration with BD Department
• Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies for cohesive customer outreach.
• Provide insights and feedback to the BD Director on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.
Collaboration Across Departments
• Work closely with other departments, including Logistics, Order Processing, and Accounting, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Align sales processes with overall company objectives and operational capabilities.
• Act as a liaison between the sales teams and other departments to address challenges and ensure timely solutions.
Operational Excellence
• Oversee and refine sales processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure effective use of CRM and sales tools for tracking and analyzing performance metrics.
• Develop sales forecasts and provide data-driven reports to the BD Director.
• Support the integration and onboarding of two new sales teams in 2025.
Customer Focus
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic guidance and support to the sales teams.
• Address customer escalations and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale sales teams successfully.
• Experience in working within an integrated sales and marketing department.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Background in the interior decor or home furnishing industry is an advantage.
