POSITION SUMMARY
Vespa Adventures is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the company's B2B sales growth across Southeast Asia. This person will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with travel agents (TAs) and hotel partners, while also managing a team of sales administrators and hotel
sales staff at each branch to ensure the company's sales targets are met. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on salesperson and a team leader, capable of setting clear goals, providing coaching, and ensuring performance tracking across locations. This is a pure sales leadership role, without administrative or executive assistant duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel Agent (TA) Sales Development
• Identify, engage, and grow relationships with secondary travel agents (TAs) across domestic and international markets.
• Represent Vespa Adventures at trade shows, webinars, networking events, and B2B sales meetings.
• Coordinate outreach campaigns, including direct sales calls and email prospecting.
Hotel Sales Management
• Oversee and support hotel sales representatives at branch level to ensure consistent performance and brand representation.
• Develop group-wide hotel partnerships and lead negotiations on preferred supplier agreements.
• Track performance of hotel-generated bookings and implement strategies to increase yield.
Team Leadership & Sales Operations
• Supervise a small team of sales administrators and hotel sales staff across different branches.
• Set clear KPIs and targets for the team, and ensure regular performance reviews and feedback loops.
Sales Strategy & Coordination
• Work cross-functionally with the operations and marketing teams to align on capacity, promotions, and campaign timing.
• Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership on sales trends, risks, and opportunities.
• 3+ years in sales leadership within travel, hospitality, or related service industries
• Experience managing a remote or multi-location sales team
• Deep understanding of B2B travel distribution, especially with TAs and hotel partnerships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English; other languages (Vietnamese, Thai, French, etc.) are a plus
• Confident using CRM and sales tracking tools
