Domain: Sea Freight Department - Pricing & Procurement
Region: APAC - Vietnam
Reporting lines: Seafreight & Operation Manager
Main tasks and key responsibilities:
• Management of the Seafreight Department including financial issues, business and people development
• Develop and maintain relationships with overseas agents, shipping lines, and customers
• Sets, communicates and follows KPIs to ensure constant improvement of Seafreight team
• Ensures realization of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectives
• Ensures operations are performed consistently with customer requirements and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from requirements
• Ensures compliance with group business strategy and local business environment
• Maintain quality standards for operational seafreight procedures and improve them when necessary
• Oversees interface with Corporate Sales, Product, and Manila SCC, if required
Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of Seafreight operation and business
• Proven track record in people management role (leadership, motivation and people skills)
• Demonstrates strong communication capabilities
• Easily capable of making well-informed decisions
• Knowledge of ocean market
