Senior Accountant

Overall responsibilities:
Bank & Treasury
- Post bank inflow based on payer ID and deposit from customers as well as doing transaction to return deposit as requested according to company policies and procedures.
- Check the validity and legitimacy of payment requests, creating/uploading payment orders, getting payment approval according to company policies and procedures, purchase foreign currency.
- Monitor the status of the payment process.
- Daily posting/applying bank statement, ensuring all bank inflow/outflow are posted on the same day.
- Creating payer id for new customer.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, answering inquiries, and addressing any audit findings.
- Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. This process involves matching transactions, investigating variances, and resolving any issues may have.
- Organize the storage of payment document with defined rule on daily basic.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Inventory:
- Represent as Inventory accountant to participate in and lead periodic inventory counts as arranged by manager, making sure that actual counting is reflected correctly on stock count minutes.
- Getting full and clear explanation from department for stock count discrepancy as well follow to get signed stock count minutes.
Free beer and Point of sale materials (POSM) payment:
- Verify free beer/POSM documents ensuring compliance with promotion program and internal policies/procedure.
- Check the advance clearance documents for POSM.
Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure a smooth and efficient payment process and support smooth business operations.
