Position Overview:
The Business Developer will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding the firm's portfolio of projects. This individual will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients, building strong relationships within the architecture, construction, and real estate industries, and developing strategic partnerships that align with the firm's long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in
business development, a strong understanding of the architecture and construction sectors, and a passion for fostering meaningful client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition:
o Identify and target potential clients, including real estate developers, contractors, government entities, and other stakeholders in the architecture and construction industries.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities.
o Develop and execute strategies to win new business and increase the firm's client base.
• Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the pre-design and proposal stages.
o Cultivate relationships with industry professionals (engineers, consultants, etc.) to enhance cross-functional collaboration and increase business opportunities.
• Market Positioning and Brand Awareness:
o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness.
o Stay informed on industry trends, technological innovations, and best practices to position the company as a thought leader in the field.
• Contract Negotiations:
o Assist in the negotiation of terms, contracts, and service agreements to ensure profitability and risk management.
