Position summary:
Business Development Manager (BDM) - Oversea Agent Sales, South Vietnam is a Sales hunting position with accountability to build External Oversea Agent Sales portfolio.
The BDM will be fully accountable for the Oversea Agent Performance and outcomes of its own individual sales performance of Vietnam by leveraging the existing resources of Visy Global Logistics. This role will further influence the safety, service, and solutions offerings within Visy Global Logistics to affect customer retention.
Key focus areas include growing of oversea agent sales pipeline, drive trade lane development, and manage external customer portfolios, achieving ambitious KPIs and coordinate with Global Sales, Oversea offices and functional Product teams to achieve the objectives.
This role requires an experienced BDM with strong commercial acumen in global freight forwarding services, including expertise in road, rail, domestic sea freight, intermodal, and 3PL capabilities.
Based in Ho Chi Minh Head office, and report to Head of Sales, Vietnam

**Leadership and Strategy:
• Actively contribute and execute strategy of Visy VN, Sales Team
• Self-motivate and aiming to high-performing sales to achieve and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with senior management to align sales objectives with overall company goals.
**Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the forwarding and logistics sector.
• Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Fully comply VRM - Visy Relationship Management (SFDC) as crucial sales management tool to support consistent high performance.
• Maintain and develop new and prospect customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods
• Assist with sales campaigns and events in conjunctions with local and overseas partners
• Joint sales visits with other sales professionals
• Development and presentations of key tenders and proposals
• Respond to RFP's and transactional quotations that fall in line with Visy strengths and strategy to new customers
• Assist in prospecting and qualifying leads from internal & external sources.
• Action all sales leads with 48 hours of receipt
• Prepare and present proposals to clients and prospective clients as required by client requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information and within clients' specific time frames
• Develop pricing, service and product strategies with commercial team to deliver innovative solutions to our customers
• Co-ordinate and effectively communicate in a timely manner with internal stakeholders, customers and overseas offices for quotations and business issues
• Continually improve knowledge of Company products and services
**Market Expansion:
• Immediate generate volume through own network for both sales coload and direct customers
• Explore and enter new markets, ensuring a diversified and robust customer portfolio.
• Develop and implement plans for market penetration and expansion.
• Review market analyses to determine customer needs, and market opportunities to develop and achieve goals.
**Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Customer Service, and Finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
***How will this be measured for Oversea Agent Development?
• Revenue Generation: Individual volume, revenue as by products or market segments.
• Sales Pipeline Metrics: Number of agent leads generated, Sales calls, 1:1 meetings, conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel, and the average deal size.
• New gained agent & Customer Retention and Satisfaction: Metrics related to customer satisfaction, retention rates, and upsell/cross-sell success can be relevant.
• Oversea Agent Sales Team Performance: Achieve or beyond Individual sales quotas and the overall productivity.
• Training and Development: Recommend to share any knowledge and self professional development.
• Adherence to Sales Processes: KPIs adherence to VRM SFDC usage, sales call processes, and other established procedures.
• Ensure prospect agent and opportunity pipelines have sufficient revenue to drive an actual outcome that shows at least 2 times individual TEC (Total Employment Cost)
**Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide regular and accurate update to
Sales Manager & Senior management.
• Conduct market analysis and use data-driven insights to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Work in compliance to Visy Policies Participate on budget preparations to ensure delivery of budget.
