Business Planning & Intelligence team oversees and responsible to drive growth for business. Our main focus is on developing business strategies that align with our mission of serving the community. We ensure a seamless user experience by connecting the right partners with the right users, driving demand for transportation, delivery, food delivery, digital [protected info] targeted campaigns.
About the Role:
Within this team, you will emphasize business intelligence and leading growth, where you will take ownership of impactful analytics work that enables be to make informed, data-driven decisions and stay ahead of market competition trends.
Responsibilities
• Build and oversee the Business Intelligence team including scoping out the needed team, responsibilities, processes, workflows, tech stack, etc.
• Provide functional leadership and mentorship to a BI Analyst, guiding their work, developing their skills, and ensuring alignment with overall data strategy. Develop a business intelligence system to ensure timely and easily extract business insight and sales trend with solid figure analysis
• Providing sales analysis and reporting tools (developing and maintaining a business intelligence system to ensure timely follow up of business)
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Develop and implement advanced analytical models to address complex business challenges.
• Design, implement, and maintain a self-service data platform that enables ad-hoc access to large datasets, empowering business users to conduct their own analyses.
• Oversee competitor activities, including campaigns, pricing strategies, and product offerings. Provide insights on market trends to ensure we remain ahead of other players.
• Serve as a data expert and architect for new technical projects by overseeing data flows, recommending KPIs, and developing tools (such as data sources and reports) that empower business stakeholders. Partner with
business leaders to answer important questions, evaluate business performance, and make optimization recommendations, supporting senior management and business teams in making data-driven decisions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Effectively communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuously improve and stay current in new BI technologies and platforms identifying emerging solutions, driving innovation and creative solutions to meet business challenges
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field, Master's degree Preferred
• At least 8 years+ of working experience in
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, Consumer Market Insight or market research, preferably at tech companies
• Proficiency in advanced SQL, Python, Power BI, and other dashboard/automation tools.
• Strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, and excellent communication abilities with a proven track record of working collaboratively as a team player.
• Project management skills with the ability to bring programs to completion and has the initiative to work around ambiguous situation, desire for learning, have an open mindset to understand new concepts, and exhibit curiosity
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions, backed by data insights
• Embrace new challenges and changes, have an open mindset to shift from long-term plans to immediate tactical action.
• Experience with data modeling and analytical frameworks.
• Prior experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.
