We are seeking a Senior CAD/CAM Engineer to create and manage 3D CAD files, ensuring alignment with quality, aesthetics, technical, and cost requirements. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and optimizing product costs through innovative solutions.
Description
The successful candidate will report to Hongkong office and perform the following tasks:
* Create and manage 3D CAD files, ensuring they meet quality, aesthetic, technical, and cost requirements.
* Develop product specifications and verify all product-related data, including BOM, costs, and technical documents.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders for sampling and provide samples for Product Marketing.
* Ensure aesthetic quality while balancing manufacturing requirements in CAD models.
* Estimate and optimize product costs by evaluating alternative constructions and production methods.
* Assess technical risks, validate Technical Handover documents, and ensure sample quality before approval.
* Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, take ownership of informed decisions, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in final products.

* Educational background in Engineering.
* Ideally 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar role within an international manufacturing environment.
* Mastery of 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino) is required; experience with 3D printing is a plus.
* Demonstrated experience modeling business processes using various tools and techniques.
* Proficiency in English for effective cross-functional communication.
* Innovative and creative approach with a can-do attitude.
