The Job
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies, as well as experience with Jenkins automation tool. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring infrastructure and managing cloud-based environments.
- Design, develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Develop and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Chef and Ansible
- Monitor infrastructure and respond to alerts using tools such as Dynatrace and New Relic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve infrastructure performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues as needed
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities as required
- Stay current with DevOps technologies, trends, and best practices
- Ensure infrastructure and code meet functional and technical requirements
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineer
- Strong experience with Jenkins, including pipeline creation and maintenance
- Maintaining and developing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef and Ansible
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Have a strong sense of Security
- Have knowledge of security system scanning such as SAST, DAST, IAST
- Has exposure to Vulnerability Management
- Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP, IP, RSYNC, ASPERA, FM, etc.)
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and principles
- Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills
- English skills: equivalent to Toeic 800, be able to comprehend technical documents in English
Nice to have:
- Jenkins certifications
- Experience with CDN system
- Experienced in at least one programming language (.NET, C#, Java, Python)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Perl
- Experience with modern logging and monitoring solutions (ELK/Loki, Grafana/Prometheus, Dynatrace...)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
