Senior Full-Stack Python Developer

Outpost24 is seeking Senior Python Back-end Developers to join our growing development team in our beautiful Hanoi office.

You will play a key role in building and maintaining large-scale systems that extract and process cyber threat intelligence from both the surface web and the dark web.

While the core focus of the role is web crawling and backend infrastructure, you'll also have opportunities to work with modern AI and Machine Learning models-no prior experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

This is a high-impact position where your work contributes directly to improving global cybersecurity. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and threat analysts to deliver tools and services that help our customers monitor and reduce risk in a constantly evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, production-grade backend systems using modern engineering practices
• Develop and maintain robust web crawlers for extracting data from surface and dark web sources
• Build APIs and backend services to support threat intelligence products
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
• Help maintain and improve existing systems, including legacy codebases
• Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus
• Experience with AWS and Terraform is a strong advantage

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in backend systems
• Experience with building REST APIs using common Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django)
• Hands-on experience building web crawlers or scrapers
• Familiarity with data extraction from structured/unstructured web sources (surface or dark web)
• Proficient with Git in a team development environment
• Experience working with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS
• Comfortable working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken)
