Senior Graphic Designer (5 Years Experience, Good English)

The Graphic Designer forms part of Marketing focused on both internal communication and our external customer base in Asia Pacific (particularly Australia), North America, UK, Europe and Africa. This position reports directly to the General Manager, Continuous Improvement (based in our Vietnam offices) with a strong dotted line reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, Asia Pacific (based in Melbourne, Australia).
• This role is responsible for creating and developing specialist creative design solutions for the Company ranging from: internal and external communications including staff newsletters, recruitment events, brand identity, digital, video, event promotions, merchandise, and customer presentations.
• The role combines art and technology to communicate ideas through text and images and the layout of electronic and printed information.
1. Deliver creative concepts, design, and production of graphics, ensuring the designs adhere to global MiTek guidelines
2. Develop graphic marketing collateral to support the business which may include signage, illustrations, digital assets as well as technical marketing material, merchandise, internal/external publications, staff event communications, and video content.
3. Support the Asia Pacific General Manager, Marketing with both Vietnam collateral and branding and also support Asia Pacific marketing requirements
4. Support Corporate team internal staff communication to deliver consistent branding and design
5. Support Operations team external customer communication including presentation design, brochures, and promotional leaflets
6. Research and use a wide range of digital designing tools, and applications (digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software)
7. Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
8. Produce design layouts, including a selection of colors, images, and typefaces
9. Design and make changes according to the instructions from the manager and incorporate required changes requested or recommended into final designs
10. Provide feedback and suggestions about improvements or alternative methods to communicate the desired message more effectively
11. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
12. Other reasonable duties as assigned
