Senior Merchandiser (Apparel)
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Merchandiser to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in the Apparel sector who excels at managing the entire production cycle from initial client requirements to final shipment. You will be the primary link between our overseas buyers and local factories, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent English communication skills and a strong understanding of the apparel and textiles industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Merchandising Process: Serve as the main point of contact for overseas buyers and manage relationships with local factories and suppliers.
• Sourcing and Development: Analyze buyer requirements to source materials and accessories efficiently, costing experience, negotiate the best prices for quotes, and lead the sample development process with factories.
• Production and Quality Control: Monitor bulk production progress, production schedules, materials and trims approval. You will be responsible for resolving issues with factories and ensuring product quality meets customer demands
• Logistics and Reporting: Coordinate shipment events, prepare comprehensive reports and plans, and assist the Regional Manager with various follow-up tasks.
Yêu cầu
• Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the fashion industry is required. Experience with merino wool and fabric is a significant advantage. Experience working on the details of order follow-up in manufacturing and with vendors is preferable.
• Language Skills: Must have a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English; Chinese ( Mandarin) is a strong advantage
• Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships with all stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
• Probation: A 2-month probationary period with a full salary.
• Benefits: You will receive annual leave, social insurance (SHUI), as per Vietnamese Labor Law.
• Bonus: An annual performance-based bonus & 13th month salary tied to individual contribution and company growth.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Work Location: 4th Floor, 101-103 Nguyen Cuu Van St, Gia Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
