Responsibilities
- Lead development of React Native apps for enterprise clients in US, Japan, Singapore, Korea
- Build full-stack features end-to-end: native modules (iOS / Android) → backend APIs ([protected info] / Python) → cloud infra (AWS / GCP)
- Architect scalable mobile + backend systems with offline-first sync, push notifications, and real-time features
- Integrate AI features (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain) into mobile UX with proper streaming and error handling
- Code review and mentor 3-5 mid/junior engineers
- Run daily English standups directly with client tech leads - no PM intermediary
- Ship within fixed-scope timelines (scope discipline is a shared responsibility)
Requirements
- 5+ years React Native production experience (≥ 2 apps shipped to App Store / Play Store with real MAU)
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript (ES2020+, generics, async patterns, Hooks)
- Backend depth in [protected info] (NestJS / Fastify / Express) or Python (FastAPI / Django)
- REST / GraphQL API design, OAuth2, JWT, websockets
- Cloud (AWS or GCP), Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Mobile-specific fluency: bundle size optimization, perf profiling, native bridge, deep linking, App Store + Play Store policies
- Business-level English (daily standup, async written communication, technical doc reading)
Nice to have (priority hire)
- Native module experience (Swift / Kotlin / Objective-C / Java)
- Production AI integration (LLM streaming, vector DB, RAG)
- Flutter or iOS / Android native experience
- JLPT N3+ Japanese - additional language premium for JP-market projects
- TOPIK 4+ Korean - priority for Korean market expansion
