Senior Shopify Engineer JavaScript, HTML, CI/CD

• We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and optimizing high-performing e-commerce solutions for scaling businesses.
• Frontend Development: Implement UI/UX improvements with a mobile-first approach (90% mobile traffic).
• Manage multi-currency & multi-language Shopify storefronts (Shopify Translate App, Localize).
• Develop new features to enhance store performance and user experience.
• Optimize the subscription model UX (reduce clicks, improve conversion rates).
• Conduct A/B testing & tracking to refine user interactions.
• Enhance the Shopify Admin interface for a smoother backend experience.
• Backend Development: Maintain & update payment gateway integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe, Klarna, etc.).
• Develop Klarna payment integration, including monitoring & logging error webhooks.
• Maintain & improve Recharge subscription tracking, including API updates and webhook event logging.
• Implement robust monitoring & error tracking for better system stability.

• From 4 years of experience developing within Shopify platform and Shopify template structure and language, experience in building custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifications to existing elements.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Vue is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, payment gateways, and subscription models.
• Experience with A/B testing, tracking tools, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of multi-currency & multilingual Shopify setups.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
• Deep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions.
• Experience with Shopify Functions and Shopify Checkout UI Extensions is a big bonus.
