The Job
We are seeking a Mid/Senior Software Developer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to support our global billing product business units.
In this senior role, you will take the lead in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining both new and existing applications. With extensive experience in the enterprise software industry as a developer or technical lead, you should excel in analyzing requirements, designing system behavior, programming, testing, and ensuring future maintenance.
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in our Ho Chi Minh City office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and develop new feature as well as maintain existing functionality.
- Collaborate with architect on solution design and implementation.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts and diagrams.
- Improve development efficiency by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers by providing advice, coaching and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and various roles in Agile/Scrum methodology to meet delivery deadlines.
- Remain cool and effective in a crisis.
Your Skills and Experience
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 3 (middle level) or 5+ (senior) years of experience, who has the background with:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science.
- Development experience in commercial/enterprise business systems with Microsoft technologies. E.g. C# and .NET Framework.
- Proficient at B/S application development and performance tuning.
- Experience in web technology like WCF/Web Service/RESTful Service/WebAPI/HTML/JavaScript/ jQuery/Angular/React/Backbone/Knockout.
- Experience working in a cloud environment and/or Software-as-a-Service.
- Experience with Kafka, Elastic/Logstash/Kibana, Redis, PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of unit test and test-driven development techniques.
- Strong experience in:
- Relational Databases
- Experience with develop REST API
- Microservice architecture
- Multitenancy
- Serverless architecture
- Docker
