About The Role

• You enjoy building high-quality applications on the OutSystems platform using proper architecture, patterns, and best practices.
• You can translate business requirements into efficient low-code designs across UI, logic, data modeling, and integrations while balancing performance, security, and maintainability.

• You have experience contributing to enterprise-grade systems, ideally within secure environments involving robust architectures, integrations, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a squad of 2-3 engineers in delivering features across frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.
• Implement high-quality, secure, and maintainable code aligned with the platform's architecture and coding standards.
• Break down requirements, estimate effort, and plan sprint work together with the Product Manager and Tech Lead.
• Conduct code reviews, support debugging, and ensure good testing coverage within the squad.
• Integrate with internal and external systems (e.g., identity services, payments, third-party systems) following secure API practices.
• Work closely with QA to validate functionality and ensure smooth releases across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, contribute to root-cause analysis, and improve reliability and performance.
• Support documentation, CI/CD processes, and adherence to secure development and compliance-aligned practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6-8 years of software development experience, with 2+ years in OutSystems (Web / Mobile).
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, data modeling, screen logic, aggregates, integrations, and error handling.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java / .NET / Node / Python) and modern frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and authentication standards (OAuth2/OIDC).
• Ability to design clean, modular, reusable OutSystems components aligned with architecture guidelines.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational database concepts, and performance tuning on OutSystems.
• Comfortable with agile delivery, CI/CD concepts, versioning, and environment promotion workflows.
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail, with a focus on secure and maintainable development.
