Your key responsibilities:
Lead sensory & consumer studies within business projects, influencing stakeholders to make data-driven and consumer centric decisions. Drive impact of Sensory & Consumer data to contribute to success of product
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and manage external research partners to drive flawless end-to-end execution of sensory & consumer research activities
Work independently, recommending fit-for-purpose research approaches, in accordance with established protocols
Functionally supervise and coach Sensory & Consumer colleagues in Singapore and Asia.
Act as a local consultant with broad expertise in Qualitative and Quantitative consumer research; Sensory Methods & Sensory Marketing; Design of Experiments & data linking; Sensometrics and connecting with subject matter experts in Innovation Centre Wageningen to support deeper dives as needed
Scout and develop innovative sensory & consumer study practices or data analysis methods, managing full implementation operationally
Main Accountabilities:
Create protocols for analyzing sensory & consumer test data using both existing and new statistical methods. Ensure data quality before analysis and perform deep dives when necessary
Link sensory data to consumer test results or product-specific data to identify product improvement or innovation directions
Interpret results, provide clear conclusions and recommendations for current and future initiatives
Present findings and recommendations in clear, compelling and business-relevant manner, maximizing impact beyond individual projects
Represent the team as a counterpart to a part of the business, steering alignment on new ways of working or new action standards. Act as right hand for the manager

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, or Master's or PhD degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in multiple expertise areas related to sensory & consumer science, such as sensory testing methods, qualitative and quantitative consumer research, sensory marketing, design of experiments, statistical analysis linking multiple datasets and sensometrics.
Passion for coaching people and to share your knowledge with colleagues throughout the region.
Experience in working with sensory trained/expert panels, specifically in dairy, food or beverage category would be advantageous.
Familiarity with statistical treatment as well as MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Enjoy working with multicultural, multinational and multi-disciplinary team.
