Sewing Factory Director (All Sewing Factories)
The Sewing Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of all sewing factories and related sewing support functions. The position directly manages the Sewing Factory Directors and the following functions:

1. Job Purpose
Lead and manage all sewing factories and related support functions to achieve production targets in terms of quality, cost, delivery, safety, efficiency, and compliance. Drive automation, continuous improvement, workforce optimization, and operational excellence in alignment with Thanh Cong Textile & Garment's strategic objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sewing Operations Management
Lead and manage the overall operations of all sewing factories, covering multiple production lines and shifts.
Manage Sewing Factory Directors and ensure consistent operating standards across all factories.
Develop and execute production and capacity plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
Monitor key operational KPIs, including output, efficiency, productivity, OTIF, defect rate, rework rate, overtime, and cost.
Ensure effective coordination among Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing processes.
Identify operational risks and implement timely corrective actions.
Manage Sewing Factory Directors and ensure consistent operating standards across all factories.
Develop and execute production and capacity plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
Monitor key operational KPIs, including output, efficiency, productivity, OTIF, defect rate, rework rate, overtime, and cost.
Ensure effective coordination among Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing processes.
Identify operational risks and implement timely corrective actions.
B. Sewing Functional Management
Lead and coordinate the following centralized sewing functions:
Sewing Planning: Capacity planning, production scheduling, order allocation, manpower planning, and delivery monitoring.
Sewing R&D: Sewing method development, technical improvement, process standardization, and new product feasibility.
Sewing Sample Room: Sample development, sample quality, lead-time management, and readiness for bulk production.
Sewing Outsourcing: Subcontractor selection, capacity allocation, production progress, cost, delivery, compliance, and performance control.
Sewing HR / Cost Management: Workforce planning, labor-cost control, factory HR coordination, productivity analysis, and operational budget monitoring.
Sewing R&D: Sewing method development, technical improvement, process standardization, and new product feasibility.
Sewing Sample Room: Sample development, sample quality, lead-time management, and readiness for bulk production.
Sewing Outsourcing: Subcontractor selection, capacity allocation, production progress, cost, delivery, compliance, and performance control.

C. Quality Control and Quality Coordination
Oversee factory QC operations through the Sewing Factory Directors.
Ensure effective in-line, end-line, and final quality-control processes.
Monitor defects, rework, rejection rates, and quality-related production losses.
Lead corrective and preventive actions for production quality issues.
Coordinate closely with the QA function under the Sales Director to ensure compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards.
Support QA investigations and corrective-action implementation when quality issues are related to factory operations.
Ensure effective in-line, end-line, and final quality-control processes.

D. People Leadership and Development
Lead, coach, and develop Sewing Factory Directors and the managers of Sewing Planning, Sewing R&D, Sewing Sample Room, Sewing Outsourcing, and Sewing HR / Cost.
Build a culture of discipline, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive manpower planning, skills development, performance management, and succession planning.
Ensure the right organizational structure and workforce allocation across all sewing factories.
Develop capable factory-management teams and future successors.

E. Cost, Efficiency and Automation
Manage sewing budgets and control labor, outsourcing, overtime, rework, and other operating costs.
Optimize factory capacity, manpower, machinery, and resource utilization.
Lead productivity improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, SMV reduction, and line-balancing methods.
Drive automation and semi-automation projects, including automated sewing equipment, material-handling systems, RFID tracking, and production-monitoring tools.
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to evaluate and implement appropriate technologies.
Reduce waste, idle time, overtime, quality losses, and dependency on manual labor.
Optimize factory capacity, manpower, machinery, and resource utilization.
Lead productivity improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, SMV reduction, and line-balancing methods.
Drive automation and semi-automation projects, including automated sewing equipment, material-handling systems, RFID tracking, and production-monitoring tools.
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to evaluate and implement appropriate technologies.

F. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all sewing factories and outsourcing partners comply with applicable social, environmental, labor, and safety requirements.
Maintain compliance with relevant standards such as WRAP, BSCI, ISO, EHS, and C-TPAT.
Ensure safe working conditions and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Cooperate with relevant corporate functions during customer, compliance, and safety audits.

G. Strategic and Cross-functional Projects
Coordinate with Sales, Merchandising, QA, R&BD, Supply Chain, and other relevant functions to achieve business and customer objectives.
Ensure that Sewing R&D and the Sample Room meet new product development and production-readiness timelines.
Support digital transformation projects relating to production planning, monitoring, costing, and reporting.
Drive process innovation and operational-standardization projects across all sewing factories.
Provide the CEO with regular reports on factory performance, risks, costs, capacity, and improvement plans.
Ensure that Sewing R&D and the Sample Room meet new product development and production-readiness timelines.
Support digital transformation projects relating to production planning, monitoring, costing, and reporting.
Drive process innovation and operational-standardization projects across all sewing factories.
Provide the CEO with regular reports on factory performance, risks, costs, capacity, and improvement plans.
3. Qualifications & Experience
*** Education: Bachelor's degree in Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Automation Engineering, or related fields.
*** Experience:
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in garment manufacturing, including at least five years in a senior multi-factory or factory-management position.
Strong experience in export-oriented knit garment manufacturing is preferred.
Experience managing large-scale operations of approximately 80 sewing lines and 3,000 employees is highly desirable.
Proven experience in production planning, sewing operations, outsourcing management, cost control, and factory performance improvement.
Proven track record in implementing automation or operational-improvement projects.
Strong experience in export-oriented knit garment manufacturing is preferred.
Experience managing large-scale operations of approximately 80 sewing lines and 3,000 employees is highly desirable.
Proven experience in production planning, sewing operations, outsourcing management, cost control, and factory performance improvement.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
