Mission
• Responsible for day-to-day local regulatory (including SHEQ) activities.
• Coordinate regulatory & SHEQ activities in Vietnam to support business.
• Provide Regulatory & SHEQ services support to business in Vietnam (Sales, Supply Chain, and 3PL-Warehouse & Transportation management)
• Coordinate mental health and wellbeing / because giving back matter activities for all employees in Vietnam.
• Interface between Regional SHEQ and local entities.
Reporting Line & Location
• The SHEQ Specialist will report to local Managing Director.
• This role will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Main Accountabilities
1. Ensure compliance of the entities in the geographic area of responsibility with applicable legislation (product compliance, registration and HSE regulations), internal and external requirements, and group standards & policies.
2. Perform all products & SHEQ related permits and licenses available and up to date to support company business in Vietnam.
3. Ensure compliance of local items such as TDS, SDS, documents, and regulatory alerts, in cooperation with local entities representatives, well-managed and organized to be ready to use anytime.
4. Responsible for Product Creation / Product update / SDS creation request to support business.
5. Responsible for the local Quality, Environment & OHS Management System (ISO) implementation, certification, monitoring and continuous improvement of the same.
6. Ensure the efficient and correct organization of external and internal audits; monitor the local entities audit plan and function as internal auditor when required.
7. In collaboration with business owners: reply to customers' product claims and/or quality issues, and ad-hoc SHEQ-related questions from customers.
8. Coordinate mental health and wellbeing activities for all employees in Vietnam following Azelis CEO strategic and program.
9. Charity and because giving back matter activities in local.
10. Contribute and follow up local Sustainability Reporting in MSM.
Operational Responsibilities Included:
1. Implementation of applicable legislation, authorizations, permits, and licenses needed for the business.
2. Provide regulatory expertise to scientists and senior management on new product development and assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation.
3. Support the maintenance of regulatory files and tracking databases to ensure prompt and accurate access to company regulatory information (concerning current, pending, and future approvals and renewals)
4. Assist in reviewing product and process documentation for assigned projects to ensure compliance with requirements, as well as monitor renewals to strict deadlines.
5. Act as liaison between multiple project teams to obtain significant information as well as answer queries that may arise where required SHEQ support.
6. Communicate management of changes to existing products and company practices where necessary.
7. Stay up to date with the latest rules and regulations.
8. Give annual reports and presentations to regulatory authorities.
9. Management System: regional ISO 9001 & 14001 certification; set up new certifications when needed in the business; prepare, participate, and report on internal and external audits, and ensure the implementation of the action plans afterwards.
10. Review and approval of quality agreements with suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers.
11. Ensure full support on SHEQ business towards business (e.g. customer visits, legislation, advice, etc.).
12. Follow up the SHEQ aspects of subcontracted parties (warehouses, transport companies, toll manufacturers, blenders, labs, etc.) in coordination with local Supply chain teams.
13. Training of employees on the relevant SHEQ matters, including the Quality Management System, in coordination with SHEQ managers.
Yêu cầu
Skills & Competences
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), or equivalent discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in product stewardship and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
• Strong customer and product awareness within the chemical sector
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong time management skills to meet multiple deadlines and targets.
