Mô tả công việc
❖ Provide software engineering services to customers using Ampere Computing's 64-bit ARMv8 processors, including bring-up support, software development/customization, driver porting, performance tuning, and system debugging, primarily focusing on UEFI, open source and customized Linux
❖ Resolve compatibility and platform firmware and software problems. Perform analysis of reported failures and address implementation issues.
❖ Customer code review or consultation. If needed, develop sample code to demonstrate feature implementation
❖ Performing competitive performance benchmarking for different Server workloads
❖ Develop customer demos showcasing key product features and value proposition
❖ Educate and support customers in using Ampere Evaluation Platform BSPs
❖ Travel to customer sites to support platform bring-up and production line contingencies when required.
Yêu cầu
Education/Experience Requirement:
❖ BS/MS in Computer Science or related areas
❖ Minimum 7 years of software development with C/C++ languages
Special Skills/Knowledge Required:
❖ Familiar with Server hardware and software
❖ CPU architecture knowledge (including multi processors, coprocessors, cache design, coherency and coherent interconnects)
❖ Hands-on experience in doing Linux-based software development focusing on kernel space. Familiar with kernel debugging and performance tuning methods
❖ Experience with Android OS is a plus
❖ Experience developing low level drivers under Linux in the following is a plus: PCIe/USB/SATA/Ethernet/Security
❖ Programming experience to include C/C++, Java and at least one scripting language (Python, TCL or Shell script)
❖ Hands on experience using the JTAG debuggers, PCIe, SATA and USB Protocol Analyzers and IXIA Traffic Generators
❖ Board bring-up experience with any processor
❖ Self-managed individual with excellent problem-solving skills
❖ Can do attitude for challenging tasks. Willing to work flexible hours to fit customer schedules, including attending conf calls and remote debugging sessions
❖ Requires excellent written and oral communications skills
