** Job Summary:
Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating Sourcing functions for the South East Asia business to support New Product development and Cost Management efforts. This includes being the primary point person leading Sourcing efforts for Company through direct interaction with suppliers. Responsible for sourcing materials, evaluating supplier quotes, and negotiating costs to determine most desirable supplier.
** Job Description:
•Provide sourcing support through interaction with potential suppliers as well as providing product concept alternatives directly to Company based on suppliers' core competencies.
•Responsible to drive cost management and supplier performance for SEA suppliers.
•Responsible for sourcing materials, evaluating supplier quotes, and negotiating costs to determine most desirable supplier.
•Responsible to identify SEA suppliers with new capabilities to generate concept options for new products or to meet product development requirements.
•Work closely with suppliers to build ongoing relationships and track their progress as we launch new products.
•Works with internal personnel within the Company Vietnam (CVN) office to manage suppliers' progress in the commercialization process prior to product selection.
•Obtain supplier lead-times and manufacturing capabilities for input into our timelines and SAP purchasing system.
•Establish Standard Costs and monitor purchase price variances against financial standards.
•Fuel innovation in the business by leveraging suppliers' ideas and product capabilities and submit to Platform Teams for global procurement management assessment.
•Investigate, identify, and implement alternative sourcing options for products and services that may improve quality while reducing overall cost.
•Need to be able to work within the SAP environment and understand vendor management and supplier negotiation techniques.
•Collaborate with Suppliers to improve minimum order quantities, lead times and flexibility to benefit the Global Company supply and customer base.
•Provide support for the CVN office as needed to meet New Product milestones and customer order requirements.

•Experience in Sourcing for an International Consumer Products company including knowledge of one or more of these specific product types will be helpful in understanding the Company business.
oWriting Instruments (i.e. markers, pens, pencils)
oPaint/ink production
oCompounds (i.e. Clay, Dough, Putty)
oPrinted/bound items (i.e. books, paper)
oActivity sets
oToy items
•Experience in the Sourcing functions related to CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) companies.
oProvide supplier assessments for competitive manufacturing alternatives of existing products.
oAbility to effectively negotiate favorable prices and terms.
oAbility to establish and grow positive relationships with key suppliers.
oProvide insights into manufactures' core competencies to serve as potential new product alternatives for Company.
oAbility to effectively influence supplier actions while acting as a liaison for Company.
•Experience working as an intermediary or directly with CPG manufacturers/suppliers.
oAbility to negotiate/resolve issues with supplier leadership.
oAbility to effectively communicate and drive actions on a wide variety of Supply Chain issues.
oA3/structured problem solving & root cause analysis
oLean/Six sigma familiarity, training or certification
SALARY:From 1000 USD to 1300 USD
