Mô Tả Công Việc

Scope of Position:

The Steward Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the stewarding personnel ensuring all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
The Steward Supervisor will be responsible for upholding Hoiana Shores Golf Club's standards and to be responsive to the instructions of the Head Chef and/or the Sous Chef.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Supervise the day to day stewarding operations.
Develop a work roster which ensures there are sufficient stewarding personnel on duty to keep all areas clean and tidy throughout the day.
Assist in the operation at peak times and any other times business needs require your hands-on assistance.
Ensure all garbage is collected, properly separated and collected by outside contractors.
Assist with keeping all cool rooms, fridge and freezer units and storerooms clean and tidy always while observing the necessary stock rotation standards.
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard golf cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to health standards.
Prepare and implement a cleaning schedule of all kitchens, related areas and equipment.
Effectively organize all clearing/cleaning stations ensuring low breakage, fast clearing and constant supply of clean operating equipment during operation.
Maintain positive and open lines of communication with fellow associates in the kitchen and F&B Service.
Maintain a cleaning working environment during the daily shift.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Arrive at workplace on time in full uniform prepared with tools and all equipment needed for service.
Understand and demonstrate competently the standards and procedures as set out by the department and Hoiana Shores Golf Club's profiles.
Perform other unexpected duties as requested e.g. cleaning spills, follow up on special guest requests.
Complete any other duties and services as assigned by the Head Chef and/or the Sous Chef.
Be well versed and knowledgeable of Hoiana Shores Golf Club's fire and evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements at the workplace. Ensure employees are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
Uphold Hoiana Shores Golf Club's culture by demonstrating the golf course standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.
Personally, ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation and related golf course policies.

Other Duties:

Comply with all standards of performance, operational policies and procedures in place at Hoiana Shores Golf Club at all times.
Participate in appropriated internal and external activities to enhance the company's prestige.
Perform other relevant duties as directed by the Head Chef and/or the Sous Chef.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Technical requirements:

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations.
Ability to lead, supervise and motivate a small team.

Behavioral requirements:

Ensure cleanliness of all F&B OS&E, kitchen areas and equipment.
Control issuance/storage of Kitchen OE and coordinate inventories.
Ensure implementation of established standards of sanitation and operation of Stewarding related machinery and equipment.
Maintain logbook.

Educational requirements:

High School graduation required.
Chemical knowledge.

Language requirements:

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used at the workplace.

Skill requirements:

Good communication skills.
Knowledge of the kitchen, its services and facilities.

Experience requirements:

Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Kitchen operations, including at least 2 years as Steward Team Leader with experience in a quality rated Hotel/Resort/Restaurant/Golf Course.
Experience in Stewarding required.

Certificate requirements:

Certificates in Chemicals.
