Store Expansion Manager - Fashion Retail

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: (What is the reason that this job exist; what is the overall aim of this role?)
Lead the company's retail expansion by developing and executing store development strategies across the brand portfolio. Identify and secure optimal locations, negotiate leases, and manage the opening and refurbishment of stores to maximize business growth and brand presence.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Develop and execute store development plans aligned with business growth and each brand's positioning.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable store locations through market research, site assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Negotiate with landlords, developers, and agents to secure favorable lease terms.
• Oversee the end-to-end process of new store openings, relocations, closures, and renovations, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, VM, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal) to ensure smooth execution of store development initiatives.
• Monitor market and retail property trends, providing insights and recommendations to support portfolio expansion.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and performance reports related to store development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and real estate networks to support long-term expansion opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and legal/regulatory requirements in all projects.
