Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and updating internal Google requirements and specifications for data center infrastructure.
Review and assist in the evaluation of data center designs, ensuring technical compliance and adherence to Google's standards.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc) to ensure a coordinated and integrated design.
Conduct reviews of detailed design documents for data center buildings and equipment enclosures, ensuring accuracy, compliance with requirements, and proposing alternatives for optimal performance.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in Civil, Structural or Site Engineering.
Experience in implementing civil or structural engineering principles (e.g., grading and drainage, hydraulic modeling, sediment control, erosion control, or soil migration).
Experience with standard structural engineering techniques, and procedures.
Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000) and CAD/Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Chartered engineering, Civil engineering, Structural engineering or a related field.
Experience in industrial facility and data center design and construction.
Experience in Finite Element modeling, 3D modeling and analysis.
Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, road and infrastructure layouts.
Ability to communicate technical issues with online collaboration and presentations.
Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment, and communicate technical issues.

You will be knowledgeable in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RAM Structural System, Mathcad, spreadsheet or a related structural design software. You will provide structural engineering and technical oversight of new modular data center designs, support program planning and program strategies.
