BAT Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Executive (Fixed term) role in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This role is responsible for end-to-end supply and production planning, ensuring the timely availability of materials and finished goods to support business and market demand. The incumbent will work closely with regional and local stakeholders to optimize inventory, drive supply continuity, support new product launches, and contribute to overall supply chain performance and efficiency.
What you will be accountable for:
• Develop and manage planning for imported materials and leaf for BAT factories and customer factories.
• Coordinate closely with the Singapore Planning Hub and local teams to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) shipment performance.
• Prepare monthly and weekly production schedules for factories and manage Distribution Replenishment Planning (DRP) for finished goods (FGs) to distributors, ensuring compliance with stock holding policies and optimal warehouse utilization.
• Lead the planning and execution of imported finished goods supply to the Cambodia market, aligning with market demand and stock holding policies.
• Conduct risk analysis on supply vs. demand, perform scenario planning, and propose viable alternatives to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with above-market planning teams to maintain balanced supply of imported materials, leaf, and finished goods, while managing calculated risks and driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance (cost, cash, delivery).
• Act as a key contributor to implementing Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and continuous improvement initiatives under the Supply Network Pillar.
• Participate as a project team member for new product introductions (NPIs) and other ad hoc supply chain projects to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships within the Functional Leadership Team and across cross-functional stakeholders.
Essential experience, skills and knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational FMCG company in a similar scope.
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken).
• Strong ability to coordinate with internal and external senior stakeholders to drive agenda and deliver results.
• Excellent influencing, leadership, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with people at all levels.
• A proactive team player who can also work independently and perform under pressure.
• Solid digital literacy, including SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
