Responsibilities and Measures
Supply Chain Finance:
Gather, organize, and analyze manufacturing costs to recommend efficiency improvements for direct labor, variable overhead, and fixed overhead.
Prepare and analyze COGs and transfer prices.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports (purchase price and production usage variance, cost-saving initiatives, Capex, and operating expenses).
Partner with manufacturing and supply chain departments to provide insights for decision-making.
Strategy, Planning, and Forecasting:
Support the creation of cost simulations for "what-if" scenarios regarding future business planning (new product development, new line investments).
Craft the master budget plan for standard costs, manufacturing costs, supply chain costs, procurement costs, and Capex investment.
Administrative Functions: Perform routine daily activities, including reporting and documenting performance via URC assessment tools.
Nature and Scope
Accountability: Oversees manufacturing costs, supply chain costs, and procurement commodity prices to contribute to informed decision-making and efficient resource use.
Key Contacts: Frequent contact with Manufacturing, QA, R&D, Supply Chain, and Procurement departments to provide financial insights, validate cost-saving projects, and provide price forecasts.
