Supply Chain Management - Assistant Manager

1.Supply Chain Planning & Shipment Coordination
• Handle the monthly planning and monitoring process, and the weekly shipment planning of the assigned client to facilitate meeting their Logistics KPIs, objectives and goals.
• Work in hand with team-mates to ensure the delivery of suppliers is on time as per agreed shipment plan, managing their operational performance, liaising on required action to correct existing issues and mitigate potential risk.
2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
• Work towards continuous improvement in the supply planning process; achieve operational excellence and promote effective and efficient supply planning process.
• Handle business partners and ensuring they are operating under the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor supplier performances and motivate them for continuous improvement to excel the operations and data quality excellence.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Risk Mitigation
• Initiate meetings with key stakeholders for any supporting need to mitigate and minimize disruption on any supply and/or projects.
• Collaborate with capacity planning lead and provide vital alert on a variety of parameters including sourcing issues, desired ship date management, etc.
4. Project Leadership & Global Operations
• Lead complex, integral supply chain projects across functions and work with different international sites that lead to end-to-end supply chain process enhancement, operations improvement in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that aim to continuous improvement and sustainability.
Others:
• Manage, administer, supervise, assign work to employees belonging to section.
• Participating in the labour discipline process, claiming compensation for damage according to the authorization, sequence and procedures specified in the Company Labour Rule.
• Other tasks assigned by Manager and above.
