JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to ensure the efficient and effective management of supply chain operations for a specified assortment. This includes material planning, procurement, and maintaining SCM-relevant master data. The role is responsible for achieving key performance indicators related to delivery service and inventory management, while minimizing associated costs and mitigating risks. Additionally, the position supports demand and purchase forecasting, reporting, and analysis tasks to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operative responsible management of supply for a specified assortment, also as operative interface to suppliers
• Material planning and procurement of the assigned assortment (incl. Follow-up of timely and sufficient supply, with supplier correspondence, direct shipment to customers)
• Maintenance of SCM relevant master data (phase-in/out, novelties, promotions)
• Responsibility for KPI "delivery service" and "inventory" in the assigned assortment. Avoidance of associated cost, ensuring the target delivery service at minimized inventory. Monitoring risks, initiating risk mitigation; handling and answering sales inquiries
• Close cooperation with 3PL logistics, sales, global SCM, other companies SCM, Product management.
2. Demand and Purchase Forecasting tasks
• Support in Collection and validation of the sales Forecast (which is updated in responsibility of the Zwilling group companies +
sales managers)
• Aggregation of purchase Forecast data towards our suppliers
• Support in creating and follow-up of binding quantity contracts with suppliers
3. Reporting / Analysis tasks
• Updating of material planning parameters by guideline of GSCM (reorder points, min. order quantities, stock guarantees)
• Monitoring of assortment sales/ Highlighting of underperforming items, proposal for discontinuation
