General information.
The position of Technical
Sales Engineer (TSE) is responsible for growing new customers and new business opportunities. The work starts with evaluating the market segments & territories assigned by the company, then looking for potential customers, making appointments, determining potential business opportunities, and keeping following-up until the project closed-won/or lost.
Main Duties and Responsibilities.
• Screening the potential market segments/territories, identifying potential business opportunities, collaborating with related colleagues internally as well as partner's experts externally to find right solutions (both material and dispensing equipment) for customers.
• Building up and maintaining a good relationship with Key People at customer's side including R&D, Production, Quality Assurance,
purchasing team and even Senior Managers through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Persuading customers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs.
• Achieving budgeted Sales Target and Gross Profit agreed with manager/company.
• Providing sales reports/forecast periodically according to company/manager requests.
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
• Other TSE duties as assigned.
