As a prerequisite, candidates for this position must possess expertise in selling polymers and be confident in developing new customers. The primary responsibilities of the Technical
Sales Manager: Identifying business opportunities, building and fostering customer relationships, as well as negotiating and closing business deals. Furthermore, he/she should maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Research and analyze the market to identify target customers
• Create, sustain, and develop strong relationships with customers
• Conduct regular customer visits to identify new project opportunities
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
• Lead negotiations with customers to secure new business
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are fully met
• Stay informed about competitor activities to effectively position our offerings
• Attend conferences and exhibitions to represent the company and gather market insights
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and management within the CRM system
• Build annual sales budgets and take responsibility for achieving sales targets and margins
• Provide feedback to management on customer trends and opportunities for new products or services
