Technical Service Lead - homebase (AC, DC, Electrical, Power)

This is a homebase position in HCMC, Vietnam. The Employee will be in charge for installation, maintenance, planning for service to Clients/ Project Sites. The Employee may travel nationwide to the projects.
Troubleshooting : Provide proper diagnosis and repair of complex technical electrical problems on most equipment in the plant.
This includes AC and DC equipment to 500 volts. The problems include but are not limited to fusing, AC/DC drives, PLC's (programmable logic controllers, relay logic, starters, lighting, general plant wiring and types of control devices (photo eyes, limit switches, counters, timers, etc.)
Installation : Install equipment using proper materials accordance with NEC and good workmanship in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to, layout, material lists, piping, panel installation, wiring, termination, testing and documentation.
Prevention: Preform preventive maintenance routine checks and calibration on all plant equipment.
Equipment:
Use test equipment for daily diagnosis, repairs and installations. The knowledge of multi-meters in necessary. Other test equipment that will be used includes amprobe, oscilloscope, phase sequencers, megger, thermal imager and tachometer.
Must have working knowledge of PC skills to use laptop computer for on-line troubleshooting
Safety: Work to eliminate all unsafe behaviors and conditions within the plant. Maintain excellent housekeeping practices and safety awareness on all shifts. Ensure a safe work environment by wearing required PPE. Also by participating and completing any required safety related courses or training.
Documentation: Read blue prints including but not limited to ladder logic, electronic prints, general plant wiring, manufacturers' schematic and pneumatic diagrams.
Communication: Work with vendors and/or internal support personnel by providing necessary accurate and detailed information. Inform supervision of machine status during breakdowns and project status. Identify and provide feedback and ideas for improvement on equipment performance issues, repeat failures or breakdowns and potential problems with equipment or work methods. Pass on accurate and detailed information of events that happened on your shift to replacement and/or supervisor at shift change. Maintain a professional manner at all times. Daily worksheets or requested forms are filled out accurately and detailed.
