Your Role:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and execution of test automation within our SaaS solution. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of our test automation framework, ensuring measurable improvements in test efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, modular test automation framework.
- Focus on automating critical test scenarios for API, UI, and integration layers.
- Analyze manual test cases and prioritize automation candidates.
- Build and maintain stable test scripts to cover high-risk workflows.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure long-term sustainability of the automation framework.
- Regularly evaluate and improve the framework's reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain documentation for the automation framework and processes.
- Share insights and propose improvements to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Your Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Experience:
- 5+ years in software testing, including at least 3 years focused on test automation.
- Proven track record of leading test automation for complex SaaS web solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in automation tools & frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript or equivalent.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for efficient collaboration.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong English communication skills to work seamlessly with global teams.
- Ability to prioritize, manage tasks efficiently, and deliver results in a structured manner.
