Tooling Engineer

Job Description

Job Descriptions

· Reviews New tooling development Tec pack with Team and shoe factories

· Reviews Tech pack with mold shop about possibility of making molds and soles

· Finalizes Mold shop and part vendor with Shoe factories

· Initiates the BP with Mold shop (India, China, VN)

· Initially reviews BP in Mold shop (Vietnam)

· Reviews BP with Shoe factories at various stages

· Finalizes the Outsole/ Mold construction

· Sends BP to US team and gets feedback, and coordinates with Shoe factories and Mold shop until BP being approved

· Reviews final BP along with Team and signs off the BP before steel cutting

· Visits mold shop frequently to clarify the technical points

· Conducts ETDA (Estimated Tooling Authorization) to submit to US team

· Implements DTA / PTA approval process

· Pushes the Mold factories to complete the molds on time

· Approves FSR Molds for Bulk production

· Ensures the Mold quality

· Improves initial trail parts

· Finalizes Materials

· Follows up Lab tests

· Follows and approves outsoles pre-production

· Develops New Part vendors and Mold shops to reach 100% molds/ soles in Local (Vietnam)

Job Requirements

Requirements

Good English (4 skills)
Working Experience in Mold Shops is preferable.
Qualification: well trained in tooling with skills in CAD, 2D, 3D, etc.
Should be from North, VN
Knowledge about the sole and footbed - compounds.

· Should have at least 10 years work experience in the mold/sole industry.

· Humble, honest and open-minded
