Duties:
- Managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Support various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.
- Paying attention to detail, knowledge of labor laws, and proficiency in payroll systems will contribute to the smooth operation of the HR department and overall employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data input, calculations, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate time and attendance records, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll-related inputs.
- Process statutory deductions, taxes, and contributions in compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues or inquiries from employees.
2. Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Coordinate with benefit providers to enroll new employees, process changes, and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Educate employees on available benefits and assist them with benefit-related inquiries or claims.
3. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and payroll setup.
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and other HR-related documents in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, regulations, and tax codes to ensure payroll compliance.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements accurately and on time.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews, providing necessary documentation and support as needed.
5. Employee Relations Support:
- Provide support to employees on HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution.
- Collaborate with
HR Managers and other stakeholders to foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
6. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Financial/ Accounting, Legal or related field.
- Proficiency in English is advanced (work with Expats if any)
- At least 3 years experience in Total rewards manager/ C&B or payroll Manager.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. experience with payroll software and HRIS systems;
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Able to handle conflicts in negotiation with some guidance to bring most value impact to total rewards
- Support Reward Backbone maintenance (Benchmarking, Job/Position evaluation, Reward Matrix etc.), Reward processes (recognition etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
