Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Trade Lane Manager to drive business growth in freight forwarding and logistics services. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and leading a sales team while ensuring profitability across assigned trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
• Develop new customers and expand logistics business from existing accounts
• Promote company services including international/domestic freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance, and project cargo
• Build and execute sales plans to achieve assigned targets
Account & P&L Management
• Manage key customers and maintain strong business relationships
• Control quotations and pricing strategies
• Monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) of assigned accounts
• Follow up and collect receivables, ensuring healthy cash flow
Operations Coordination
• Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth shipment handling
• Ensure high service quality and minimize customer complaints
• Manage effective handover from sales to operations
Team Management
• Lead, assign, and monitor team performance
• Motivate and coach team members
• Support training and development activities
Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare sales reports and performance analysis periodically
• Coordinate with overseas offices within the group for business development
