Mô tả công việc
The Project Management Office Manager will assist the PTMO Director in establishing and maintaining the company's project management governance, assist Project Managers in implementing and ensuring successful completion of cross-functional strategic projects.
The Job:
- Develop and maintain project management methodologies, standards and tools.
- Establish the organization's approach to the full life cycle of projects: This includes everything from project planning, initiation, resourcing and execution to monitoring, control and completion.
- Assist with setting up, managing and ensuring timely completion of cross-functional strategic projects assigned by the Project Steering Committee (PSC).
- Provide project management support to cross-functional Project Managers in project set-up and implementation to ensure effective implementation of functional projects.
- Serve as the central point to coordinate with cross functional Project Managers to track project implementation progress, consolidate and escalate key project issues to PSC/functional committees for timely decision making.
- Assist with preparing for the monthly PSC meetings.
Yêu cầu
- University Degree in a Business Administration, IT, Project Management or related discipline.
- 3-5 years working experience in project management or similar role in financial services industry.
- Solid knowledge of project and portfolio management methodology.
- Knowledge of resource management tools.
- Certification on Project Management courses would be an advantage.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture
- Analytical skills - ability to work with numbers effectively, analyze and make sound judgments.
- Strong writing, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good knowledge in financial services industry, especially insurance industry.
- Communicate effectively with different stakeholders, especially with senior management.
- Excellence written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Resilience and resourcefulness.
