Manage the day-to-day activities for social media & digital marketing channels. Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them. Manage active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing long-lead editorial calendars, monitoring online conversations. Establish a positive online presence for the hotel(s) by integrating property-specific and brand messaging in a compelling and valuable way for participants. Provide measurement of the impact of online presence to the hotel's overall business.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Verify adherence to Corporate Advertising and Marketing Communications standards, brand standards, and format guidelines.
- Verify marketing communications support regional, market, and hotel business objectives and goals.
- Research and image sourcing of Social Media creative content.
- Provide day-to-day analysis of data from listening and CMS tools.
- Manage day-to-day activities of select social media channels.
- Interact with corporate e-commerce, strategic alliances and other corporate departments to verify leadership of the hotels in any e-marketing opportunities.
- Establish a positive online presence for the hotel(s) by integrating property-specific and brand messaging in a compelling and valuable way for participants.
- Create and manage reporting, profile moderation, outreach activities, etc.
- Provide day-to-day support on select social media channels.
- Verify marketing information provided to the properties is accurate, complete, timely, and enables hotels to meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor community feedback in real-time and assist with fan engagement.
- Support execution and fulfillment of projects as outlined on marketing communications plans.
- Serve as a resource for the sales and operations team regarding Internet distribution issues, questions, or new programs.
- Help distribute content across social platforms.
- Manage and execute campaigns across multiple platforms including content curation, design and reporting
- Develop strong working relationships with outside vendors to verify quality, cost effective creative executions.
- Develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
Integrates marketing strategy into digital efforts.
- Possess a functional knowledge of WordPress.
- Conduct and compile research about the social media space as well as research related to the development and execution of campaigns.
- Assist with media relations as needed.
- Assist with collateral development.
- Analyze click-thru rates, bounce rates, visitors flow, etc. to determine if current marketing tactics are working efficiently.
- Keep all hotel digital signage up-to-date.
- Maintain a working knowledge and principles of SEO including keyword research.
- Manage and update hotel web-site content.
- Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
- Keep all directories and online listings up-to-date.

- Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
- Anticipate guests&039; service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
*Communication
- Inform and/or update the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one&039;s voice, using the callers&039; name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
Related Work Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing with digital marketing and/or social media experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Development or Communications is preferred or a related field.
