JOB DESCRIPTION
*General Description:
Reporting and working closely with Design Manager in the Viet Nam office. Urban Planner / Designer will involve in the design phase of several large scale urban projects that range across all of the below:
- Hospitality environment - resorts and recreational areas
- Urban environments - towns and cities
- Spatial - parks, open landscapes
***Specific Position Responsibilities:
- Be able to adapt and be flexible in the working environment
- Both internal and external communication and correspondence.
- Work under your own initiative and direction, as part of MP team and the whole multi-skilled organization including: architects, infrastructural planning, local consultants, local government, and developers, etc.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines within the Viet Nam and Singapore studios when needed.
- Communicate closely with the planning leadership to implement the team vision while working independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Strategic understanding of global design trends and issues.
- Work with the wider planning team to ensure policies and guidance are followed.
- Assist in project coordination of large-scale multi-faceted projects as required, collaborating with numerous teams in multiple locations
- Have skill in rendering is a plus but not compulsory
- May involve some national travels
- Participate and contribute to the development of design concept through implementation into subsequent production and implementation stages.
- Assist in creating presentation materials for all phases of projects, including graphics, 3D modeling, renderings, technical details to meet the desirable goals and meet client expectations.
