[Urgent] - Server/ System Engineer (Senior Staff)

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years - 3 years' experience in related field
• Manage day-to-day operation of the host computers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Apply revisions to host system firmware and software. Work with vendors to assist support activities
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
• Develop procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
• Perform troubleshooting as required. As such, lead problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
• Establish guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, disk arrays, fiber channel switches, tape libraries and other components
• Manage the data center and computer host systems including hardware, software and equipment.
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.

• Good knowledge and experience in Windows Server, MS SQL DB, SAN, VMware, VTL
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Ability to batch scripts for servers
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to following tasks through completion.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to work independently as well as willingly support colleagues
• Work as part of a team
• Good commnunication skill in English
