Direct Report: Creative Team Leader
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating original and visually captivating videos that effectively communicate our brand message and products. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand project objectives, edit video content, create original video content creatively, and ensure a polished final product. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a solid understanding of video editing techniques, and proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
Responsibilities
• Review and organize raw video footage, ensuring proper file management and organization.
• Edit and manipulate video content to create cohesive and visually appealing sequences, using industry-standard editing software.
• Cut, splice, and rearrange clips to optimize the pacing, timing, and flow of the video.
• Enhance videos with visual effects, transitions, graphics, and other elements to elevate the overall quality and impact while maintaining originality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, such as directors, developer team, and creative team to understand project objectives and effectively translate them into the final video.
• Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to ensure the video meets the desired vision and objectives.
• Work with audio files, including syncing and editing soundtracks, adding or adjusting background music, and incorporating voice-overs or dialogue.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and ensure high-quality color grading throughout the video.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and editing software to continuously improve skills and workflows.
• Ensure timely delivery of final edited videos, meeting project deadlines and specifications.
• Maintain project files and backups, adhering to proper data management and storage practices.
