General Description:
- The Business Change Manager (BCM - IT) acts as a critical bridge between customers,
warehouse operations, and regional/global IT expert teams.
- The role is responsible for onboarding, implementing, enhancing, and maintaining
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to
ensure stable operations, successful customer implementations, and continuous
improvement.
- The BCM supports both ongoing operations and new projects by translating business
requirements into system solutions, coordinating stakeholders, managing change, and
ensuring effective adoption of logistics systems in line with DSV standards and customer
expectations.
Responsibilities:
• System Support & Operational Stability
- Provide Level 1 application support for WMS, TMS, and related logistics systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational users regarding system incidents, service
requests, and minor enhancements.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate escalation to regional/global IT teams
for Level 2/3 support.
- Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and compliance with operational processes.
• Project Implementation & Change Management
- Support or lead new customer/account onboarding onto WMS/TMS platforms (global,
regional, or client-specific systems).
- Conduct business requirement analysis and translate operational needs into functional
system requirements.
- Perform basic WMS/TMS configuration in line with approved solution design and global
standards.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover,
and go-live activities.
- Support change management activities including user training, documentation, and
post-implementation stabilization.
• Business, Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the key liaison between customers, warehouse operations, and IT teams during
implementation and enhancement phases.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and
deliverables.
- Support sales and solution design activities from a WMS/TMS perspective, including:
o Solution feasibility and system capability assessment
o Implementation scope definition
o Effort estimation and cost inputs
• Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Development
- Identify opportunities for system optimization, standardization, and process
improvement.
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within BCM and IT
communities.
- Continuously build understanding of logistics operations, warehouse processes, and
transportation flows.
Yêu cầu
Skills & Competencies:
• Experience or strong exposure to warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound) supported by IT systems.
• Hands-on experience in WMS/TMS support and/or implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with warehouse operators, supervisors, managers, customers, and IT stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• System integration and interface testing experience.
• Reporting and analytics exposure (e.g. Power BI).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience in logistics IT, WMS/TMS implementation, application support, or supply chain systems (flexible depending on seniority).
• Experience in 3PL, warehousing, or logistics operations is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to work in site-based environments and travel between warehouse locations when required.
• Strong English communication skills for interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
