General Summary:
Drive & oversee HVAC equipment sales activities within the market. Develop new business encompassing chillers, airside products, VRF systems, etc., through strategic product sourcing, channel development, and
sales team leadership. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize profitability and sustainable growth, aligned with the company's vision and values. Formulate expansion plans and strategies to grow the customer base in the target market; mentor and develop subordinates through structured training and coaching.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Develops business plans and sales strategies to ensure Company's sales goals and profitability is achieved.
• Support sales by developing and timely executing of A&P programs, market data, pricing strategies & marketing support.
• Responsible in maintaining pricing list and strategies for unitary products.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the
Sales Engineers/Executives.
• Prepare action plans for the individuals as well as for the team in order to obtain effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new market.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as required.
• Conduct one-on-one review with the sales team to build more effective communication, understand training and development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
• Provide timely feedback to senior management in regards to performance.
• Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
• Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Engineers/Executives.
• Create and conduct proposal presentations to clients whenever necessary.
• Assist Sales Engineers/Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes to ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Recruit, test, and hire Sales Engineers/Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
• 5+ years working experience preferably in HVAC industry in the areas of sales and services.
• Problem solving skills: Can objectively analyze problems and identify workable solutions.
• Negotiating and influencing skills: Able to persuade, convince and influence others in the decision making process.
• Communication skills: Ability to express oneself clearly and encourage open communication.
• Customer-centric, proactive and analytical with strong sense of commitment towards highest standards of service.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Candidates with sound technical knowledge in air-conditioning equipments, systems and processes will be given preference.
