Primary Function:
Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating distribution and display plans to meet sales and marketing objectives to achieve target availability (number of stores), visibility (presence quality), and channel offtake (demand growth) for existing and new products.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements availability, visibility, and demand programs for modern trade, wholesaler, and retailer level.
2. Supports sales and marketing team to develop and implement trade programs. Providing relevant insights, ideas, & solutions to help further improve proposed activities.
3. Coordinates with sales teams and distribution partners to get field inputs and make local plans for execution as needed.
4. Tracks, monitors, and reports performance of trade marketing plans/activities for each area and region.
5. Tracks, reports, and provides initial recommendation on market intelligence related to shopper, competitors, and trade activities to sales and marketing departments.
6. Tracks, monitors, and reports budget spending and ensures Return on Investment (ROI) results.
7. Sets up and updates procedures and standards for the trade marketing job function.
8. Plans, develops, and implements special ad-hoc projects that would support trade marketing objectives
9. Provides initial recommendations on promotion intensity and optimum promo mix per channel/ trade customers.
10. Conducts training programs/workshops and briefing/orientation to share knowledge/best practices and/or build capabilities within the organization.
11. Provides reports that are on time, complete, and accurate.
12. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
