Accountability Statement / Role Summary
An Associate Data Operations Analyst should have a basic understanding of best practices, can execute tasks with supervision from others. Individuals will create basic level insights and recommendations in their area of expertise. Individuals in this role will continue to provide support to the team and clients and begins to lead efforts with low complexity.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Functional/Technical
Perform the following responsibilities at a Basic level:
- Assist in the evaluation of internal systems and processes by identifying potential inefficiencies, problems, and inaccuracies under guidance. Follow established protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
- Update, maintain, and process market data using various internal systems and proprietary company software following established procedures.
- Assist in sourcing, cleansing, and verifying data according to defined guidelines.
- Assist in analyzing data and investigating basic queries from business and clients with guidance from senior team members.
- Run standard reports that provide insight into ongoing company performance, following established templates and instructions.
- Assist in the preparation of data and basic reports for presentation to key stakeholders under the supervision of senior team members.
- Participate in projects and collaborate with global colleagues on specific tasks as assigned.
- Escalate potential product enhancements to senior team members based on observations during daily tasks.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining process documentation under guidance.
- Monitor data traffic and schedules, escalating any deviations or issues to senior team members.
- Capture changes and escalate them to the appropriate team members as required.
- Suggest potential areas for process improvement to senior team members.
- Assist in identifying basic inconsistencies and variances in data, escalating them for further investigation.
- Assist in timeline management and reporting by providing updates on assigned tasks.
- Assist in filing creation and data loading into the CSS regulatory platform under supervision.
- Execute basic calculations as instructed.
- Perform basic filing validations and sanity checks as directed.

Essential Competencies
- French Speaking
- Proficiency with Confluence products
- Proficiency with current technologies, including, but not limited to
- Scripting and querying in RDBMS OLTP or OLAP data stores such as Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Data visualization and mapping software (Tableau, Mapforce, etc.)
- Ability to pass background, credit checks, and drug screens and/or fingerprinting based upon client or company requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount.
- Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to analyze problems and identify resolutions at a functional level.
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of regulatory reporting, it's drivers and requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field.
- Two or more years of technical and data analysis work; experience with financial services software or data governance preferred.
- Certifications in areas such as SQL, scripting etc.
