The Job
Overview: The Business Analyst (BA) will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, analyzing requirements, optimizing workflows. The team, consisting of a Business Analyst, Website Designer, and Full-stack Developer, collaborates to build and ensure the user-friendly and seamless web and mobile app.
Responsibilities include
- Requirements Gathering: ➤ Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements for incorporation services and document system requirements, business logic, and technical specifications.
- Workflow Analysis: ➤ Analyze workflows and provide data-driven insights to suggest improvements that enhance user experience.
- Team Collaboration: ➤ Collaborate with the Website Designer and Full-stack Developer to translate business needs into functional software solutions.
- Documentation & Planning: ➤ Prepare detailed reports and presentations and support project planning by prioritizing features and identifying dependencies.
- Compliance & Testing: ➤ Ensure compliance with finance and e-commerce regulations and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the app meets business needs
- Monitoring & Improvement: ➤ Monitor product performance and user feedback for continuous improvement
- Other tasks required by the Line Manager
Your Skills and Experience
Must-have requirements
- Good communication in business English (equivalent IELTS 6.0+, TOEIC 800+)
- 2+ years of experience as Business Analyst
- Experience in fintech or e-commerce
- Graduate in Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Business, IT, computer science or a related field
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise documentation, including requirements specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, demonstration script, user manuals, etc.
- Experience using process modeling techniques like BPMN, UML
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Balsamiq
- Knowledge of various Project management methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Kanan, Waterfall, etc. and cross-functional teams using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Nice-to-have requirements
- Understanding of API integration and cloud-based solutions
- Experience with RDBMS: MySQL/PostgreSQL/MSSQL/Oracle
- Experience with CRM, Salesforce, or MES systems
- Experience working with global projects, international teams
