Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in the area/s of payment, trade finance or lending within a corporate banking domain. The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of payment systems, trade finance, financial processes and banking operations. They will play an important role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of the banking solution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to banking systems
Analyze and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with development teams to design and implement file conversion requirements using the mapping specifications.
• Create mapping documents that show how each source field translates into the target format.
• Act as the liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating results, and ensuring defects are resolved.
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and user expectation
• Conduct workshops and presentations to gather feedback and validate requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
• Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the payment banking domain.
• Some knowledge on cash management and payment systems across APAC, including TT, FAST, GIRO will be preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
Preferred Skills
• Expertise in file formats (ISO 20022 XML, CSV, proprietary formats).
• Preferred knowledge of Payments, Trade Finance, Lending
• Preferred knowledge of Java, SQL skills
• Some knowledge of APAC Payment types
