Aim of Function
Promote Hettich products in construction and interior projects by engaging with architects, contractors, and key decision makers. Ensure Hettich solutions are written into project specifications and support identification of manufacturers when required. Once specified, hand over the project to the sales team for commercial follow-up.
Context of the Function
This position supports Hettich's market penetration through project specification. Acting as the key liaison for architects, interior
designers, and contractors, the role ensures that Hettich products are integrated into project documents. The position bridges design intent and product application, handing over mature project leads to the sales team for execution.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning
- Develop and negotiate strategies by studying integration of new business with company strategies and operations, examine risks and potentials, estimating customers' needs and goals.
- Advise BOD on strategic business directions and activities to grow the sales team and develop customer groups such as Contractors, Design and Build firms, and Interior Design & Build companies.
- Propose and develop sales plans, providing support to ensure each team member achieves their targets.
2. Market Observation
- Conduct market research on competitor insights, pricing strategies, customer benefits, analysis.
- Timely provide feedback and insights from the marketplace, and prepare forecasts that can support partner development.
- Collect competitive activity on an ongoing basis. Writing reports.
3. Market Cultivation
- Plan, implement and coordinate customer service (advise, negotiations, project meetings, etc.).
- Coordinate all activities in this regard in cooperation with concerned departments.
- Together with the sales team, maintain close and long-term relationships with all customers.
- Establish business plans that benefit both partners and Hettich to turn customers into loyal partners.
4. Product Development
- Develop and acquire strong product knowledge relevant to the business and market needs.
5. Client Development
- Conduct new account prospecting and manage relationships with existing customers.
6. Presentations
- Initiate and complete proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Deliver presentations to customers and maintain excellent relationships.
7. Controlling/Reporting
- Evaluate customer-related sales figures.
- Prepare and implement corrective measures in case of variance from targets.
8. Self Discipline
- Accurately input data into CRM systems and ensure all information is kept up-to-date.
• Possess a Degree
• At least 7 years of building materials industry is required
• Good network of contacts with architects, designers, and
developers
• Fluency in English and VN
• Good communication skill; Sales skill; Negotiation
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders, including specifiers, contractors, and internal sales teams. Open to collaboration and knowledge-sharing within cross-functional teams.
