MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primarily work on Market Research and Business Matching projects focused on Vietnam.
• Work within the delivery of cross-country business intelligence projects.
• Prepare service proposals and contracts and follow up with potential or existing clients to conclude agreements for the provision of services.
• Accompany clients on visits to potential partners, industrial parks, and other locations of interest.
• Build a network of contacts with industrial zones, research agencies, embassies and consulates, foreign trade promotion agencies and other parties of interest.
• Regularly monitor business, economic and regulatory news in Vietnam and ASEAN.
• Develop, maintain and update BI databases and datasets.
• Participate in marketing activities and support coordination of
business development efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills:
• Excellent communication (spoken and written) in English and Vietnamese. Role will require composition of reports in English as well as exchanging emails and phone calls in both languages.
• Familiarity with international trade law, particularly free trade agreements; knowledge of Vietnamese legal and tax systems is a plus.
• Understanding of statistical data and ability to draw insights from portals such as [protected info], the World Bank, and the IMF.
• Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and external stakeholders.
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, business, or trade-related topics.
• Educational experience abroad is a notable advantage.
Experiences:
• 1 to 2 years of relevant full time experience in research, consulting, business intelligence, trade promotion, or a foreign company operating internationally.
• Exposure to data analysis, report writing, and basic client interaction is expected.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong execution skills and the ability to work under guidance on structured projects.
Working Relations:
• Maintain strong working relationships across departments to support coordination and cross selling opportunities.
• Work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Develop new skills with limited supervision and within tight timelines.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, while coordinating with regional teams across ASEAN, China, India, Europe, and the United States.

Business Intelligence Manager, while coordinating closely with Business Intelligence leadership and project teams across the region, as well as business development and marketing colleagues in Vietnam.
